Facilitates the flow of information throughout the Information Technology Department by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.Routinely inspects all supported equipment, identifying potential problems and repairing same, as needed. Offers direction, guidance, coaching and assistance to Help Desk Technicians as needed.Coordinate training courses on the implementation and de-bugging of computer systems.Reviews all systems specifications and makes recommendations for the purchase of hardware and software.Ensures the quality of systems operations in all areas of the casino by communicating with all levels of systems users and offering direction and assistance as needed.Installs selected software, maintaining proper security levels and access rights.This position will directly supervise the Help Desk technicians, ensuring a high degree of system uptime and reliability at all properties, while maintaining professional staff and satisfactory service levels for all users.ĮSSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Responsible for the primary and secondary level of support for the critical computer systems of the organization.
